9/11/2019 Eighteen Years on...lest we forget! Falling Man (Rest in Peace) Where were you that day? That day they wounded New York! Who are they? Will we ever know? In the name of what god? May I not go to His Heaven. Falling man Potential interrupted Single act of desperation. Hope abruptly flung out the window! Another light extinguished. Public face Of private terror Emblazoned image Enduring. You confronted death In one graceful mid-air leap Into the arms of Morpheus    Flying man! Plummeting towards earth Head first Icarus in reverse You decided You escaped You determined your fate Your choice not theirs To leap - not fall! You are man who choose Man who leaped! Brave man Not falling man After all!
